My practice functions as an ongoing inquiry into the structural and emotive possibilities of weaving.

Working across a variety of looms, I create sculptural textiles that occupy the space between architectural rigour and tactile softness. My work is defined by a commitment to material honesty and the quiet authority of labour-intensive processes where the slow accumulation of thread translates into a physical manifestation of time.

I source materials with an inherent history or raw texture, selecting them for their structural integrity and their capacity to evoke a sense of tactile resonance. My technique is a rhythmic negotiation between the mechanical constraints of the loom and the unpredictable nature of these organic fibres. Within this process subtle irregularities emerge, bearing marks of care and human presence. These imperfections are embraced as a core creative principle, recognising that sustained repetition inevitably generates the natural diversions from which new forms evolve.

Informed by an architectural sensibility and the quietude of dedicated craft environments, my work seeks a balance between structural stability and aesthetic resonance. The intent is to produce objects that do not merely decorate a space but fundamentally alter its energy through their presence. Each piece serves as a study in spatial relationships and the tactile dialogue between maker and medium. I aim to elevate the act of weaving to a contemporary sculptural language, creating works that invite a slower and more considered engagement with materiality and the inherent rhythms of the creative act.
